VITACURA BICENTENNIAL PARK
EXCELLENCE IN LANDSCAPE DESIGN

This modern urban park, designed by architect and landscaper Teodoro Fernández and inaugurated in 2007, extends over 30 hectares along the banks of the Mapocho River, offering a natural refuge and a meeting space for visitors from all over Santiago.

The park is distinguished by its landscape design, which includes two artificial lagoons, extensive green areas, a diverse selection of native trees, and sculptural art. In addition to the Vitacura Civic Center, it features a restaurant designed by Smiljan Radic at the eastern entrance, and will soon host the New Santiago Museum. Its central promenade and esplanade regularly host recreational and cultural activities.

Beyond its aesthetic beauty, Bicentennial Park has become an important connection point within Santiago’s urban park network, linking Family Park, Los Reyes Park, Forestal Park, Providencia Park, and Monseñor Escrivá de Balaguer Park.
