SAN ALBERTO HURTADO PARK
STAGE FOR MAJOR EVENTS
Located in the commune of La Reina, it covers a large area, making it the second largest urban park in Santiago. Its origins date back to the 1970s when it was initially created as the Intercommunal Park of La Reina. This park has become a key gathering place for families and athletes from neighboring communes. In addition to hosting large events like the Week of Chilean Culture and the Las Condes Festival, it also accommodates smaller recreational and sports activities.
The park’s management, overseen by the Mayors’ Board of Providencia, Las Condes, and La Reina, involves maintaining its extensive facilities, including soccer fields, a rodeo arena, and an artificial lagoon. It also coordinates private and public events such as food festivals and cultural gatherings.
