BICENTENNIAL PARK OF CERRILLOS
THE FORMER AERODROME

Inaugurated in 2011, it spreads over 50 hectares of the former Los Cerrillos Aerodrome. Its design integrates large green areas, an artificial lagoon for water sports, extensive bike paths, and various children’s play zones. It also houses the Cerrillos National Center for Contemporary Art, located in the historic building of the former aerodrome.

Since 2022, every March the park hosts the Lollapalooza Chile festival, attracting thousands of attendees. Adjacent to the park, the Pan American Village was built for the Santiago 2023 Games, a complex that after the event was converted into social housing. The Bicentennial Park of Cerrillos has become a multifunctional space for recreation, sports, culture, and large-scale events.
