EL GOLF NEIGHBORHOOD
SANHATTAN

Its name originates from the Los Leones Golf Club and it is located in the Las Condes district. Originally conceived in 1937 as an exclusive residential area with large houses and luxurious mansions, its character has evolved significantly over time.

Starting in the 1980s, it underwent a rapid transformation, giving way to office buildings that now house major companies, as well as hotels and restaurants. Today, El Golf is a major commercial and financial center, nicknamed “Sanhattan,” although it still retains part of its residential elegance.

Beyond its commercial activity, the neighborhood offers tourist attractions such as Plaza Perú —a park with green areas and playgrounds— and the Municipal Theater of Las Condes. El Golf metro station provides easy access to this district, which combines modernity and tradition in a sophisticated urban setting.
